THE NEIGHBORHOOD

Perched atop the east hills in the City of Paso Robles, in the prestigious Shadow Canyon neighborhood, this 2800 sf hillside ranch, feels so remote, yet only eight minutes from the city square. It has quick & easy access to downtown Paso Robles, Routed 101 & 46 East, Paso Airport, PR Event Center & Vina Robles Amphitheatre….and over 200+ wineries in the Paso Robles AVA. This homey ranch is roomy & comfortable. It’s the perfect getaway for 5 wine-loving couples, a ladies’ wine weekend, a 60th birthday party or the perfect family reunion.

SLEEPING ACCOMMODATIONS

The master en suite is large and luxurious. It dons a comfortable king bed, ceiling fan, a 50” SmartTV equipped with Roku and a fabulous en suite. The en suite is outfitted with spa-like amenities: dual vanities, make-up station and an all-in-one shower with body jets and jetted tub. Relax and unwind! Bedroom two has a queen bed with a ceiling fan and a desk for those that must do a little work while on vacation. Bedroom three also has a queen Posturepedic bed, ceiling fan and a desk. Bedroom four has a King bed, 45” SmartTV and ceiling fan. Bedrooms two – four share a common bathroom with a shower/tub combo and single vanity sink. Bedroom five has a King bed, 40” SmartTV, ceiling fan and its own en suite. The en suite has a shower/tub combo and a single vanity vessel sink. The living room also has a queen sleeper sofa for two more if necessary. All bathrooms have hair dryers, and bedrooms have quality luxe linens and luggage racks and/or clothing storage.

LIVING & ENTERTAINING (Interior)

Enter the home through the front door into the foyer. Hang your hat and kick off your shoes and relax! You’re made it. Immediately to your left is a living room with ample seating for 7. A comfy leather sofa (also a queen pullout sofa) is enough seating for 3, a leather loveseat is seating for 2 more and two leather swivel side chairs, for a total of 7, all encircle a large wood coffee table. This is the room to catch up with old friends or family members or play some board games with the kids. To the right of the entry is the great room, with a family room, dining area and kitchen. The family room has a large leather section with 3 built-in loungers. The coffee table is where you can find board games for some great family competition. The 55” SmartTV is equipped with Roku and has a Denon 7.1 surround sound speaker system…perfect for watching your favorite TV shows and movies. Don’t forget your Netflix or Prime account numbers! The TV cabinet below the wall-hung TV also has a stereo system and an electric fireplace for some warm ambiance. A classic stereo cabinet with a turntable, complete with dozens of classic albums might just set the tone for a nostalgic, memorable evening. Adjacent to the living room area is the dining area. The dining table seats up to 8 people. It’s a bar-height large wood table with 8 chairs (2 per side) for a great, intimate dinner spot. Next to the living area is the kitchen which features all stainless-steel appliances and a solid wood butcher block island for food prep. Gorgeous cherry wood cabinets and black granite countertops give the kitchen an elegant, homey feel. Appliances include: a Samsung French door fridge with ice and water dispenser on the outside and freezer on the bottom, a Jenn Air 5-burner gas stove and oven combination, a multi-functional Bertazzoni microwave oven, and a Kitchen Aid dishwasher. A large walk-in pantry can store all your food items for the time you’re there. Small appliances include a blender, stand-up mixer and Instapot, along with every kitchen gadget you could possibly need make it the perfect kitchen to prepare the simplest meals to a gourmet 6-course delight. Perfect for pairing with your latest Paso wine acquisitions.

LIVING & ENTERTAINING (Exterior)

The front porch, facing southwest with views of the vine-covered hills has a few seating areas. Out back is the BBQ area, a seating area and a 2-person hot tub where you can soak, sip and stargaze.

GUEST AMENITIES

We provide personal amenities including soap, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion, paper products, kitchen necessities such as dishwashing detergent, dishwasher soap and trash bags. There are plenty of linens and towels. Laundry facilities and detergent are in the laundry room. The kitchen is also stocked with the essential stapes: coffee, tea, olive oil, vinegar, salt, pepper and spices.

THE IMMEDIATE AREA

You are in Paso Robles Central! This home is just eight minutes from the town square where there are dozens of wine-tasting rooms, restaurants, shopping and a farmer’s market every Saturday morning. Downtown there are over 12 wine tasting rooms, along with a distillery and local craft breweries. The downtown City Park offers free summer concerts from June through August every Thursday night. Pack a picnic basket, a bottle of wine or two, your beach chairs and enjoy local musicians belting out everything from Jazz to Rock and Blues.

PROVISIONS

Food For Less is the nearest grocer, located a block away on Creston Road. A few miles from town there is an Albertson’s on Niblick and Trader Joe’s is just down the road a bit on Vineyard Drive in Templeton. While at the Trader Joe’s you can pick up some fresh caught fish at Pier 46 Fish Market or head on over to the butcher, Stinson Meats, for some grass-fed local meats and game. Back up in Paso you can find a quality cheese shop, Vivant Fine Cheese, along with some cigar shops, Boyd’s and Third Base Market & Spirits.

RESTAURANTS

What goes best with wine…FOOD! Paso is packed with great restaurants. Stay a week or two so you can try all of them! Italian, French, Irish, Asian, Mexican, even Argentinean are just a few. From pizza to 5-course meals, Paso Robles has come of age in its dining options. Some of our favorites in Paso Robles include BL Brasserie, The Hatch, Thomas Hill Organics, Buena Tavola, Fish Gaucho, Street Side Ale House, The Alchemist, Andrea’s on Pine and Jeffry’s Wine Country BBQ. Just a bit to the south, in Templeton, offers a few more options including McPhee’s where you can find some of the best wood-fired steaks in town.

ACTIVITIES

Wine, beer and spirits tasting, hot air ballooning, horseback riding, water park, jeep rides, ziplining, Farmer’s Markets, concerts at Vina Robles Amphitheatre, spas, beaches, Morro Bay, Hearst Castle, Cambria…take your pick. There are endless options to play until your heart’s content. And don’t miss Paso latest attraction, Sensorio. Designed by artist, Bruce Munro, the “Field of Light” exhibition is a 15-acre walk-through experience through over 58,000 stemmed spheres.

By booking you are agreeing to pay a Property Damage Protection non-refundable insurance fee of $33 to cover any property damages up to $10,000 with $1,000,000 in personal liability coverage. Further explanation of this insurance can be found in your Digs Vacation Rentals rental agreement. There will also be a 4% credit card/processing fee charged for any cancellations regardless of when cancellation occurs.

USE OF SECURITY CAMERAS –

Renters understand and accept that the property may be protected with outside security cameras. These cameras are used to protect the property from potential break-ins and theft. There are NO cameras in the house.
