Tucked in near the end the “The Strand,” this 2-story, 3BR/2BA beach house is spectacular! With an incredible deck to hang or entertain on, along with being close to drive on access to the Oceano Dunes, you've found the perfect sanctuary to relax, play and enjoy your vacation.
Sit in the hot tub, relax around the fire pit, have someone tend the bar, dine al fresco or head out to the dunes for some playful ATV adventures, and enjoy the beach lifestyle to the fullest.
On the main floor is bedroom one with a comfy king bed, fireplace, a 42” SmartTv to watch your favorite shows and movies (don’t forget your Netflix or Prime account number) and direct access to the back patio. Bedroom one has use of the main floor bathroom which also serves as the guest bath.
On the 2nd floor, each of the other two bedrooms have 32” SmartTVs. Bedroom two features a lush king bed and a 32" TV hung on the wall with an extension arm. It also has a balcony overlooking the deck. Bedroom three features a queen bed, a 32" SmartTV, along with a futon for the kiddos or extra bodies. These two bedrooms share the bathroom on this floor Both are full baths, one with a jacuzzi tub/shower combination, the other with a stand-up shower.
There are plenty of places to hang out and enjoy this nicely designed beach house. First, on the main level is the great room with dining, living and kitchen all in one. The kitchen is equipped with everything you would need to whip up simple to gourmet meals. Recently remodeled, the kitchen features all new stainless-steel appliances, dishwasher, side-by-side fridge and a coffee/cocktail station, complete with a wine fridge.
The adjacent dining area has a wooden table with plush seating for 6.
living room has seating on a sectional for 6 along with a side chair and ottoman. Sit back and relax while you watch the 65” SmartTV or enjoy the large gas fireplace while you warm up from a chilly beachy evening.
Sliding glass doors lead to the front deck which is where the action is! Dine al fresco on the teak wooden table with seating for 8. Hang out, sipping cocktails around the fire pit with outdoor living furniture seating for 5. Sit up at the outdoor bar, sipping cocktails while watching your favorite sports teams on the 65” SmartTV at the bar. Or sit and soak your bones in the large hot tub with enough space for 6. This is beach-style living at its finest.
We provide personal amenities including soap, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion, paper products, kitchen necessities such as dishwashing detergent, dishwasher soap and trash bags. There are plenty of linens and bath towels. Laundry facilities and detergent are in the laundry area. The kitchen is also stocked with the basics: olive oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, spices, and condiments.
Enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi, cable TV, a washer and dryer, and parking for three cars in the driveway. Please note, there is no air conditioning in this home.

Between late October and February, experience the magnificent display at the Monarch Butterfly Grove, where you’ll catch the rare sight of thousands of monarch butterflies clustering in eucalyptus trees -- just 2.5 miles from your home as it's not necessary....we're at the beach.
Venture a bit further for some wine tasting in Edna Valley or north to Paso Robles Wine Country.
The closest grocery store to the house for some quick pick-ups and supplies for the beach is Johnson's Market on Pacific Blvd. The larger grocery stores such as Vons and Smart 'n Final are on Grand Ave. There's a Trader Joe's off of Branch Street in Arroyo Grande and a California Fresh market close to the Pismo Beach Premium Outlets.
Very close by on Pier Ave. there are plenty of beachy food places: Beach Burger, Old Juan's Cantina and Rock 'n Roll Diner. Nearby on Grand Ave. check out Figueroa Mountain Brewing Company, Rib Line by the Beach, Sushi 805, Divine Thai or Lil'bits Cafe. For finer dining Ember on Grand is a "must taste" experience.

PLEASE NOTE! You will be required to sign a Digs Vacation Rentals rental agreement to reserve this property. By booking you are agreeing to pay a Property Damage Protection non-refundable insurance fee of $33/night to cover any property damages up to $10,000 with $1,000,000 in personal liability coverage. Further explanation of this insurance can be found in your Digs Vacation Rentals rental agreement.
There is room for 3 cars MAXIMUM! More than 3 cars will get towed!

However there are some policies that we’d appreciate you abide by:
Check in & Check out Times
Please be respectful of the check in and checkout times. There may be someone coming to stay right after your stay and we need time to clean it. Our check-in time is after 4PM. Our checkout time is 11AM. Unless you have arranged for an early check in or late check out with the Property Manager, please follow the checkout procedures and leave the property on time.
While staying at the house, please respect the following rules:
1.) There is a Strict NO PARTY Rule at this home! If there is one noise complaint, the police department will be called, and you will be asked to immediately vacate the property. You will forfeit the remainder of your vacation and there will be no refund.
2.) NO SMOKING. This includes smoking cigarettes, cigars, pipes or any other smoking device. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the full security deposit and damage liability of up to $2,500 for any discovered damage to furniture or odors.
3.) PETS NOT ALLOWED. If an unauthorized pet is on the premises, the guest will be assessed a fine, and will be asked to leave immediately. Damage or cleaning attributable to pets shall be the responsibility of the guest. If you have a service animal, please notify the property manager in advance of your stay.
4.) QUIET TIME. This is a family neighborhood. Please keep the noise to a minimum after 10PM, especially when outside. If necessary, please bring the noise inside the house so as not to disturb the neighbors. Any complaints from neighbors or Sheriff’s department will result in deposit forfeiture.
5.) MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY. The maximum occupancy for this home is 6 people. Please adhere to this rule. If there are more people than allowed to sleep in this home you will be fined an additional fee of $250.
6.) PARKING. Parking is limited to only 3 Vehicles. Please keep all vehicles on our property and NOT in front of any neighbor’s houses.
7.) GUESTS OF GUEST. You are welcomed to have guests while you’re a guest at our home. Please remember that you are responsible for your guests’ actions. They must also abide by the house rules. Should they break any of the house rules you will be subject to any and all finds or additional fees. You guests cannot sleep over especially if you are already at the maximum occupancy. Loud noise after 10PM is not permitted.
8.) TV & REMOTE. Instructions for the TV and remote controls are on the table in the living room. Please leave them back on the table for the next guests.
9.) NO MOVING OF FURNITURE. Please do not move the furniture. Also, when using things in the kitchen or entertainment areas, please return those items where you found them, otherwise we may consider them lost and charge you to replace them.
10.) HEAT & AC. If applicable, please keep the Heat at a maximum of 72 degrees in the winter. And keep the AC at a minimum of 68 degrees in the summer. Also, if you leave the house for the day, please turn off the AC or Heat while you’re out. When checking out, please set the Heat to 55 degrees in the winter or AC to 78 degrees in the summer.
11.) NO GLASSES ON COFFEE & END TABLES (OR NIGHTSTANDS).
Please use the coasters provided when drinking beverages in the living room or bedrooms.
12.) NO EATING IN THE LIVING ROOM. Please refrain from eating food in the living room. There are plenty of tables and eating areas. It’s best to eat in those areas to prevent any mishaps.
13.) NO BATH TOWELS AT THE BEACH. Please use the beach towels provided for the beach and hot tub. Do not use regular bath towels.
14.) NO POT AND PANS IN THE DISHWASHER. Please hand wash the pots, pans and working knives. This will help keep them in good condition for longer period of time and for future guests.
We take the rules very seriously! Prior to booking, please refer to the House Rules included in our listing and contact us with any questions.
We care about being outstanding members of the communities we live in. Please note that per our house rules and local city ordinance, occupancy limits and quiet hours are strictly enforced. Guests must be mindful of their noise levels at all times and respect the rules of the community. In order to ensure a continued great experience for our guests and our neighbors, kindly note that any violation of these rules as well as complaints from neighbors and the city may result in a fine, forfeiture of security deposit and could lead to immediate eviction.

Release of Liability
(Read carefully – This affects your legal rights)
In exchange for participation in the use of the hot tub organized by Digs Vacation Rentals, and/or use of the property, facilities, and services of 1843 Strand Way, Oceano
1. AGREEMENT TO FOLLOW DIRECTIONS. I agree to observe and obey all posted rules and warnings, and further agree to follow any oral instructions of directions given by the employees, representatives or agents of Digs Vacation Rentals, or the owner of 315 Utah Ave., Oceano, CA
2. ASSUMPTION OF THE RISKS AND RELEASE. I recognize that there are certain inherent risks associated with the above described activity and I assume full responsibility for personal injury to myself and (if applicable) my family members, friends or other third parties under my supervision, and further release and discharge any representative of Digs Vacation Rentals and the owners of 1843 Strand Way, Oceano, CA, for injury, loss or damage arising out of my, my family, or other third parties use in our presence of the facilities at 1843 Strand Way, Oceano, CA, whether caused by the fault of myself, my family or other third parties.
3. INDEMNIFICATION. I agree to indemnify and defend Kathy Kelly of Digs Vacation Rentals and the owners of 315 Utah Ave., Oceano, CA against all claims, causes of action, damages, judgments, costs or expenses, including attorney fees and other litigation costs, which may in any way arise from me, my family, or other third party’s use of or presence upon the facilities of 315 Utah Ave., Oceano, CA
4. FEES. I agree to pay for all damages to the facilities of 315 Utah Ave., Oceano, CA
caused by any negligent, reckless, or willful actions by me or my family, friends, or other third parties under my supervision.
5. APPLICABLE LAW. Any legal or equitable claim that may arise from participation in the above shall be resolved under California law.NO DURESS. I agree and acknowledge that I am under no pressure or duress to sign this Agreement and that I have been given a reasonable opportunity to review it before signing. I further agree and acknowledge that I am free to have my own legal counsel review this Agreement if I do so desire.
6. ENFORCEABILITY. The invalidity or un-enforceability of any provision of this Agreement, whether standing alone or as applied to a particular occurrence or circumstance, shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision of this Agreement or of any other applications of such provision, as the case may be, and such invalid or unenforceable provision shall be deemed not to be a part of this Agreement.
7. DISPUTE RESOLUTION. The parties will attempt to resolve any dispute arising out of or relating to this Agreement through friendly negotiations amongst the parties. If the matter is not resolved by negotiation, the parties will resolve the dispute using the below Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) procedure.
Any controversies or disputes arising out of or relating to this Agreement will be submitted to mediation in accordance with any statutory rules of mediation. If mediation does not successfully resolve the dispute, then the parties may proceed to seek an alternative form of resolution in accordance with any other rights and remedies afforded to them by law.
This agreement and disclaimer is applicable to Renters and all guests in the Renter’s party.
I, the Renter, have read, understand, agree to, and will abide by this rental agreement and all the conditions stated here in.
By paying the deposit, I agree to the terms stated above.
CANCELLATION 30 DAYS or LESS before your check-in date, Renters will forfeit the total rental. .
CANCELATION 31-59 days before check-in, Renters will receive a 50% REFUND in the amount paid less any travel insurance fee, booking fees or CC fees of 3.5%.
CANCELATION 60 days before check-in, Renters will receive a 100% refund including all fees.
EARLY DEPARTURE – There are no refunds for early departures.
The total rental includes all charges on the paid-in-full invoice. Renters may mitigate this loss by purchasing Travel Insurance or Cancel for Any Reason insurance offer by from third party providers
