About the Property
This 1600 sf 3BR, 2BA newly updated ranch-style home is located on two acres in Paso's Eastside, just off Route 46. Just minutes from the Eastside's best wineries: Tobin James, Eberle, Cass, Bianchi, Steinbeck, Pear Valley and dozens of others. You're also minutes to Paso's latest attraction, Sensorio, Hunter Ranch Golf Course and Vina Robles Amphitheatre, where you can catch some of the biggest acts. Coming to Paso for the Rodeo, or Country Fair? No problem. We're pet friendly...feel free to bring your dog, cow or horse. We can accommodate your trailers too!
The master bedroom en suite features a king size bed, a separate sitting room and it's own bath with a tub/shower combination. The other two bedrooms have queen beds and share the 2nd bathroom. There is also a queen size air mattress with sheets, blankets and pillows for any extra guests.
The spacious living room has a 42" TV angled in the corner so it can be seen from the open concept dining area and kitchen. The living room has plush couches and a chair with seating for 7. The living room also has a wood-burning pot belly stove to those brisk Paso nights in the fall and winter.
The dining area, with a high-top table and seating for 6 is an extension of the well-equipped kitchen. The kitchen boasts stainless steel appliance including a Maytag French door refrigerator, a GE Microwave oven and a 6-burner stove with dual oven combo. A plethora of small appliances, including a freshly-grinding coffee and tea maker, a Vitamix and dinner service allow you to feed a crowd. There's plenty of prep space on the counters and large peninsula with two stools for the chef's audience to sit and sip while keeping the cook entertained.
Outside there is a covered back patio with enough seating for 14 people. The cover patio is lit with string lights for night time entertaining. The firepit/BBQ combination is the perfect spot to throw on some steaks while you uncork your newest Paso Wine acquisition. For the health conscious, there's a Far Infrared Spa available to relax and detox.
You're in a perfect area to explore the Eastside Wineries. Just minutes from Tobin James, Barr, Bianchi, Steinbeck and Pear Valley Wineries. It's also close to Paso's newest sensation, Sensorio (ask me about getting discount codes for your visit). This light show extravaganza is a "must-see" experience when visiting Paso. You're also close to Hunter Ranch Golf Course and Vina Robles Amphitheatre where you can take in some amazing acts. And you're 15 minutes to downtown Paso.
There is a Smart & Final on Spring and 20th street in downtown, along with an Albertson's on Niblick Road. A bit further to the south and you'll find Trader Joe's and Pier 46 Fish Market in Templeton.
Paso Restaurants are aplenty! What's your desire: Italian, Irish, French, Mexican, Asian, Argentinean, Organic or Seafood? Paso has them all and more.
Venture to Templeton and you can find even more. One of my favorites is McPHee's Grill. AJ Spurs and Nino also offer delicious Western fare.
There is SO MUCH to do on the Central Coast. Of course there is wine tasting, beer tasting, cider tasting and spirits tasting. But after the tongue is worn out, you could play some golf at Hunter Ranch or Paso Robles Golf Club, take in concert at Vina Robles Amphitheatre, or zipline over the vines in Santa Margarita.
Venture out to the local towns. Go antiquing in Cambria. Visit the Elephant Seals and Hearst Castle in San Simeon. Collect shells on Moonstone Beach. Drive an ATV on the beach at the Oceano Dunes. Check out the fantastic Farmers' Markets - Saturdays in downtown Templeton and Thursday nights in San Luis Obispo. Days of endless fun awaits you on the Central Coast.

We were very happy with our stay! The house was great for a group of 7 and so nice that it’s dog friendly. We found the location to be convenient. There were clear instructions for everything we needed at the house. Thank you! -Britt K. February 2022 |

Cozy home with a nice open living and dining room area. Patio was nice, as well as the fire pit/bbq. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you’d need. An easy drive into town. Great for families! -Breanna M. December 2021 |
This is a pretty big house that would work for larger groups. It's pretty remote, which is both good and bad. The rural setting is beautiful, but it's about a 15-20 minute drive to get to downtown Paso Robles. It's tough to run in this area because all the roads are private. But it's a great spot if you're visiting for some wine tasting.

Great house for families or a large group of friends. Plenty of space to spread out and be comfy. Read the fine print - host will ask you to sign an agreement outside of AirBnB.

We had a great stay at Kathy's property! She has put a ton of thought into preparing the house and ensuring her guests are comfortable. There's ample room inside for all of us to gather together, but we also enjoyed hanging out on the patio. Check in was a breeze and the home was easy to find, as well as close to multiple wineries. A few members of our group got to meet Kathy and it sounds like she has exciting plans for the property that will make it an even more special place to stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this home. The house was stocked with everything we needed and was very clean and comfortable. Whenever we reached out to the host and property manager they responded quickly and helped us out with whatever we needed. We loved being able to use the swimming pool. Just a short walk away from the Airbnb is the owner’s massage studio and she was able to squeeze in an appointment. It was so wonderful and her fees were very reasonable. Would definitely recommend this stay to others!

June 2021
The space was as advertised and comfortable, with the exception of the temperature. It was over 100 degrees outside upon our arrival and the A/C was not on inside the house. With some instruction from the property owner we operated the attic fan and cracked windows toward the back of the house, which did cool the place down, slowly. Everything else was great, and the property manager was very responsive and communicative.

Great place to stay at. Great host and communication was very easy. Ruth who stays there was such a great neighbor and made us feel welcomed. Close to many great wineries but a little bit of a drive to downtown but that shouldn't be any issue if you have a car. I would definitely stay again!

Kathleen made our stay extra special over the Xmas holiday. We brought our own 3’ tree and walked into this fabulous house and there was a beautifully decorated Xmas tree waiting for us! The house set up is terrific. Lots of space for many people. We had six adults. The kitchen is large with many cooking utensils; always a plus for us. The bedrooms are beautifully furnished as well as the rest of the house. Yes, one can see the house from the highway, but it’s a quiet place! Didn’t hear the highway at all! Loved the horses along the lane as well as the other ranch animals, too. Pretty sweet waking up to roosters in the distance. Great place for wine country, too. Went to a few vineyards about a 15 minute drive. Thanks, Kathleen. This was a xmas to remember!

Kathleen's ranch style house is conveniently located just off the highway, although you barely hear the road. It's super close to many excellent vineyards and wineries in the Paso Robles area - it took us no longer than 15 minutes to get to some really great ones. The house offers a surprising amount of amenities, including a fully stocked kitchen, full dining table and living room area with plenty of seating for a group of 6 people, and extra tea towels, bath towels, and blankets on hand to make your stay as comfy as possible. The outdoor patio is lovely in the evenings as well, and the surrounding neighborhood is very quiet, so we had no trouble sleeping.
