With views of Morro Bay Rock and just 2 blocks from the beach you're in the perfect location to explore the area or just let your hair down and relax.
Walk to the beach or ride the bikes along a paved bike path to Morro Rock and downtown.
It’s just 5 minutes to restaurants, shops, and the marina on the Embarcadero. It's the perfect location to visit some of the areas best vistas and tourist attractions. Go north on Route 1 to Cambria (10 minutes), Hearst Castle (20 minutes), and the Elephant Seals (30 minutes). Go east toward Paso Robles (25 minutes), and the Edna Valley Wine Regions (30 minutes). Go south San Luis Obispo, Avila and Pismo Beach. The day trips options are endless. But you might just want to relax and rejuvenate in beautiful Morro Bay.
In the master bedroom, sink into a comfy king-size bed and watch your favorite movies on the 20” TV. The en-suite bathroom is bright and modern with a walk-in shower.
The second bedroom has a comfy queen bed. The third bedroom includes two twin beds and a closet full of games...perfect for the kids' or the kids at heart. These two bedrooms share a full bathroom with tub/shower combination. The family room sofa also pulls out to a full sleeper for two additional adults or kids.
Two great living spaces, 3D flat screen TVs, board games, and beach toys provide plenty of space, activities and fun for the whole family. In the main living area, open to the dining room, you'll find a 55” TV and comfortable couch and loveseat that provides plenty of space for the whole gang. The second living area has a gas fireplace and a 42” TV. There are also lots of board games and books to keeps the kids entertained. The dining room table seats six and there is a fully equipped kitchen with a brand new oven, a breakfast bar with two stools and views of Morro Bay Rock from all the back windows and the sliding glass door.
Relax on the inviting patio with fire bowl, BBQ grill, and plenty of seating.
Enjoy al fresco dining on the back patio with a six-burner propane grill and a glass-top dining set for six. There are plenty of extra chairs for the kids or guests. After dinner, relax around the modern fire bowl while sipping on some of your favorite libations.
For the kids there are beach toys, body boards, beach towels, beach chairs, a beach wagon to bring all the gear to the beach and 3 adult bicycles for guests to use. Please bring your own kids' bikes & bike helmets as none are provided. For the tiny ones, there is a booster seat and a baby monitor.
There is parking for two to three cars in the driveway, with additional street parking not a problem. An extended driveway area is long enough to accommodate an RV or toy hauler.
Stock up on groceries at Spencer's Fresh Markets or do a quick run to the Del Mar Market, both minutes away from the house. Albertson's is also just 5 minutes away for the big shopping trip. If fresh fish is on the menu, Giovanni's Fish Market is the place to go. They have fresh daily catches and just about any fish your taste buds would desire. Take home to cook, take out to eat or let them serve you on their waterfront dock.
There are dozens of restaurants along the Embarcadero...Seafood, Mexican, American. A few of our favorites include Windows on the Water, Blue Sky Bistro, and the Taco Temple.
We provide personal amenities like soap, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion, paper products, kitchen necessities like dishwashing detergent, dishwasher soap and trash bags. There are plenty of linens, bath towels and beach towels. Laundry facilities and detergent are in the garage. The kitchen is also stocked with plenty of stapes: olive oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, spices, flour, sugar, baking soda and plenty of condiments. There's even a picnic basket ready for the beach. There is dinner service & plasticware for 8 as well as a ton of glassware. The TVs are either hooked up to cable or ROKU. The Family Room is hooked up with a DVD player.
There is also excellent Internet and WiFi throughout the house. So if you must work, you can do it from here.
PLEASE NOTE: There is NO AC in the house. We don't need it because we're so close to the beach.
There are lots of activities to experience in Morro Bay...rent a kayak and paddle around the Bay and Rock, take a charter boat out for an afternoon of fishing, or do a dinner cruise with your love that leaves from the marina. Explore the local farmer’s market, selling the freshest produce every Thursday afternoon. Adventure out to visit Hearst Castle and the Elephant Seals in San Simeon. Go shopping in Cambria's artisan shops in both the East & West Villages. Head to Paso or Edna Valley Wine Countries for some local wine tasting adventures. The activities on the Central Coast are endless.

This house was great for my family visit. It was within walking distance to the beach and a nice touch was a few bikes, boogie boards/sand toys and games in the garage. It is located right next to Hwy 1 but the noise was not that noticeable as landscaping is beautiful and blocks out the highway well. Nice quiet neighborhood too. Loved the BBQ and fire bowl outside.

Great place to stay, very clean & comfortable. We had a very nice stay, just couldn't figure out the TVs.
Great place, great location. After a day of sightseeing or a day at the beach we’d hang out by the fire in the backyard. Having bikes to use was fun. Short walk to the beach. This house worked out perfectly for us. Recommended!

Excellent location and great house for a fun filled family weekend getaway!
- Ryan L
An amazing home! Great little path to the beach! Head north about 5 minutes and hit the beach in Cayucos as well.

Kathy was very helpful and put my mind at ease with several emails (Thank you, Kathy) because of covid concerns. The property is well maintained, clean, and well stocked amenities. We all loved the backyard with a gas fire bowl, outside seating, and proximity to beach. We are already talking about dates for next year and staying longer!!
- Nancy W
A very nice place. Fantastic fire pit in the backyard with the view of Morro Rock. Paved walking/biking trails nearby. Close to beach. Located close to highway.
- Leslie H
This place was in such a great location. We walked to the beach and it was so close to the freeway driving somewhere was super easy. The backyard was amazing and the house itself was just clean and had plenty of space for us.
- Andrea M
“As expected, very nice place to stay. Walk right down to the beach!”
- Seng H
This place is very clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. I stayed with three adult friends and we had plenty of space to relax. The outdoor space is an added bonus with two sitting areas - a table for meals and the fire pit to just relax with a beverage. It also has a nice view of Morro Rock! You are also just a couple of blocks from a great paved walking/biking path along the coastline. I hope to stay here again soon.
The house is located in an ideal spot for families. A block away from the beach and just a short drive/bike ride to the park. Great restaurants and activities (whale watching, fishing, kayaking) all within a few minute drive. The inside of the home was very spacious as it accommodated for 5 of us (3 adults, 11 & 3 y/o). A huge plus was that they provided many things to enjoy the area and beach (bikes, towels, toys, chairs and wagon). Last but not least.. The view of the Morro Bay Rock in the backyard was simply amazing!! We look forward to staying here again.
We loved this house! We spent a long weekend exploring Morro Bay and we didn’t run out of things to do. The location of the house could not be beat- we walked to the beach at least three times in four days just because we could. We loved the bike path and were thankful for the bikes provided, too. The fire bowl in the back was a huge hit and we utilized all of the living areas with different activities (puzzles, reading, card games, etc.) My parents loved it- they had never used Airbnb before so this set the bar high if we ever go anywhere else. The neighborhood seemed really quiet and safe, too. My kids didn’t want to leave! Kathleen was great about responding and answering questions as well. Thanks for helping us enjoy time together in a new setting. ❤️
This is a great place for a family, with lots of fun provided for all ages. We loved being able to walk to the beach, taking the bikes for a ride along the coast, and sitting by the gas fireplace in the garden at night. The beds were really comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped. We had a wonderful time!
This place is a gem. It is located right off highway 1 north of the town of Morro Bay. The place is neat and tidy, well stocked and has a beautiful outdoor space for dining and reading. It is very relaxing with a great view of the Morro Bay rock. It is approximately 2 blocks to a not crowded beach on the ocean. You can also go to town to rent kayaks to use in Morro Bay which is very calm and has sea lions, sea otters and birds. Plenty of hiking to be done in the area. There are 3 bicycles at the house. There is some road noise from highway one during the day. At night, we used the fans in the house and didn’t hear the road at all.
We truly enjoyed our stay in this wonderful home! The view was great and the fire pit our favorite part.
Kathleen was very helpful during our stay! We came during the rain but that didn’t stop our adventures! It was very clean, plenty of space for 4 adults, 1 child and 2 babies. My 5 year old son especially enjoyed the home and didn’t want to leave. We needed Kathleen’s help during our stay and she was quick to respond and help out ASAP! We really appreciated that. We will definitely be back and look forward to spending time here when the sun is shining!
This is a great place for a family. The house is well taken care of, well-stocked, and very comfortable. We had a great stay there with our toddler!
Great space for families with or without small children. Well appointed kitchen and laundry facilities. Short walk to the beach and easy drive to the main downtown/harbor area of Morro Bay. Feels like home with space to spend time as a family or have some individual time. Road noise can’t be heard from inside the house. Great place!!! We’d stay here again!
A lovely homely space, close to all amenities
Great house for a long (4-day) weekend stay. Property was very clean and updated, in a quaint, quiet neighborhood. Close proximity to Morro Bay town center and the great food options and shopping along the Embarcadero - maybe a 5 minute drive. You could also walk or bike into town (bikes provided, which was pretty neat!), as it is very close. We took a nice morning walk along the Cloisters path and saw lots of birds, lizards, and cottontail rabbits along the way, which was cool for us city folk! House has everything you need, including WiFi and Netflix. Beds were comfortable, and the firepit in the back is a nice spot to hang out in the evenings. We will be back!
We had a great and fun stay. No wheref during the reservation process did it ever specify the home was directly next to highway 12
We loved our stay, great location and everything we needed was at the house. We would stay at Kathleen’s again.
- Alejandra R.
My group and I stayed at Kathleen's place and loved the time we spent here. The beach was 2 blocks away and the kids had a lot of fun! The host provided us with beach chairs/ umbrella and sad toys too. The house was very well kept and a really beautiful serene spot. We had some issues with the check-in but Kathleen took great care of us. We'd happily come back to this home and spend an amazing time by the beach again!
- Neha S
My family of four and I had an amazing time in Morro Bay! The house was clean and very spacious. The owners had everything we needed; bikes, boogie boards, beach toys and even beach towels! You can tell that the owners take pride in their home! We already booked our next stay here!
- Christina L
Great place for a getaway from the big city. The beach is gorgeous and only a short block away. Quiet neighborhood for the kids to play. Really love the comfy beds and furniture. A true resort like experience.
- Patrick S
This property was exactly what we were looking for. It had all the essentials including beach toys and towels, an outdoor fire pit and a well equipped kitchen. The house was clean and comfortable. It is a five minute walk to the beach and the neighborhood felt very safe. The house is right on the other side of the freeway, but the noise wasn’t bothersome at all. I would definitely recommend booking this house!
- Eden L.
Great location to the beach and about 5 min drive to downtown. The home is closer to the highway rather than the beach side but still very close to the actual beach, about 5 min walk.
- Kami W.
We had a wonderful stay at Kathleen’s. The house as a lot of space, very clean, and everything you need for a beach vacation! We walked to the beach from the house (easy flat walk). Especially loved the backyard patio with fire pit. Will absolutely stay again. Thank you Kathleen!
- Brandon E.
Very convenient to the beach and to town. The house was well-stocked with recreational equipment - bikes, beach gear, etc. Although the house is close to the main highway, it's really quiet inside. There were four of us but with separate living room & family room areas could have comfortably accommodated more.
- Everett S.
This house is comfortable and the landscaped backyard is beautiful with the gas firepit. Amazing view of Morro Rock. Very near highway 1 so be aware there is street noise. Short walk to beach through quiet neighborhood. Very nice hosts!
- Jill R
Location, location, location. A perfect location to enjoy the greater area. As a bonus it is a couple of minutes walk to the beach. Our family loved it!
We had a wonderful stay. The house was very clean and in a great location to walk to the beach. Even though the house is off a busy hey, it was not a distraction and at night, even with the window open, the sound was not noticeable. I would have liked more toilet paper in each bathroom and there was no Kleenex so I went out and bought my own. We had to use the housekeeping Tide as there was not TidePods like stated. I loved how we were given texts prior to arrival and if we were able to arrive early or depart later.
Our stay was very nice! The house was clean, it was an easy location to get to the beach and pier, and the backyard was very chill. However, the house is literally on the corner of the highway so it was quite noisy at both day and night. In addition, bring your own coffee!
- Katie D.
Spent a long weekend in Morro Bay while visiting our son at Cal Poly SLO. We comfortably fit our family of 5 in the well appointed home. Close to Morro Rock as well as only 15 minute from Cal Poly campus. House was very clean and kitchen had everything we needed.
We had a great girls weekend getaway celebrating birthdays with a group of close college friends. The house was nice and roomy and comfortable for everyone. We noticed that when we first arrived, that our feet and socks were getting black. It was undetermined if this was due to the type of flooring or if the floors were actually dirty. There were also some greasy dishes that we found in the cabinets. This did not deter from our enjoyment of the house though. The beds were comfortable and the location was fantastic, being only 2 blocks from the beach. It was also walking distance/short drive to grocery shopping. I would definitely stay at this house again.

My husband and I took our 9 month old son with us on a trip to Morro Bay so my husband could learn to paramotor. We were in the area for about 2 weeks and we loved our stay! This place is in the perfect location - right in the middle of basically everything. The grocery store, gas station, cute little Downtown area and the beach my husband was training on were all within just a short 5 minute drive from us. The backyard is what drew us to this house, and it was perfect for an end-of-training BBQ with all the other paramotorists. The house itself was clean and had the perfect layout. We needed at least three rooms as we had family traveling with us - this house was a perfect fit. Our one (and super small) complaint would be that the furniture in the living rooms were a bit old, and the appliances were older and well used (but clean!). Other than that, we loved our stay. Would definitely stay here again!

I rented this house along with my sister and her family for 4th of July week 2018. It was such a lovely home. We were a block from the beach and a short walk to a nearby park. It was so nice to be so close after a long day on the beach. The house had a wagon and we brought one too. The kids loved the fire pit and big yard to play in. There were plenty of spots got hide and go seek. Even though the house was near a busy intersection, you felt secluded with all the trees and bushes. The yard was fenced and we had no worries about the kids playing. There were two living rooms. The kids took over one and the adults enjoyed the TV in the other. The house came well equipped with everything we needed for cooking and bbqing. We would definitely stay again

Our family stayed here 5 nights and it was fantastic. This property offers all the amenities we could ask for. Very spacious and comfortable, especially the beds and family room furniture. The kitchen is stocked with every tool we needed for cooking and barbecuing. The little touch of placing colored tape on the edge of the 2 steps from the kitchen into the family room was genius. We appreciate the home's is spotless! When we drove up and opened the door, we all said 'this is nice!' true to the online photos. We walked to the beach, a nice 10-minute walk on the marked trail. The home's location just off Hwy 1 is very convenient. Thank you sharing this wonderful property! The TurnKey communication team is very professional, which we truly appreciate.

The home was clean, with all the basic amenities in the kitchen and baths. It was an easy short walk to the beach and nearby walking paths along the coast. We had a glitch with the touch pad key when we arrived that was taken care of by a quick phone call. We would stay here again without reservation. Our family had a great time here, especially sitting out around the fire pit visiting and viewing Morro Rock. We would definitely recommend this place.

Our group of five had plenty of space to relax in this clean, well maintained home. When it was too breezy and chilly to enjoy the outdoor firepit in the beautiful backyard, we lit the fireplace indoors instead. It made a great place to curl up with a book while others may have watched the Olympics on the big screen TV in the other family room. Having the two comfortable spaces was great! We ate many meals at the home because the kitchen was well equipped as well as being able to use a gas grill outdoors. With the great location we could be in Morro Bay in just a few minutes to get fresh fish or groceries. The easy walk to the beach was a pleasant surprise, too. We had a couple little glitches (a kitchen electrical outlet wasn’t working and the lock gave us trouble) but a call to the management and it was fixed promptly or we were given help over the phone. There were many little touches that made this clean home even more comfortable, like cozy throw blankets, beach towels, candles, books, etc. We would recommend this home with a view of Morro Rock for a great spot to relax.

We were there for a reunion of friends. The house is very clean, and the space is great for gatherings both inside and at the fire pit outside. Even the garage is a hanging out space because of the dart board!

We enjoyed our 3 days at this property. The home is set up really well for renters -- they've thought of everything you might need. It's tastefully furnished too. Our 3yr old son enjoyed the grass and big tree in the backyard. The only draw-back is the traffic noise outside, but we couldn't hear it inside.
