You are just 3 minutes to downtown Templeton, 5 minutes to downtown Paso and 30 minutes to other Central Coast destinations: Cambria, Pismo Beach, and downtown San Luis Obispo. There is easy access to 101, which makes your day trips a breeze.
Trader Joe's is a mile and a half away along with J & R Meats which offers local grass-fed beefs and other meats. In the same shopping plaza is Pier 46, the area's top fish market and restaurant. In downtown Templeton you'll find Nature's Touch Nursery & Harvest, a fully-organic grocery store with provisions from local farmers. Larger grocery stores include Albertson's and Food For Less, both about 7 miles in either direction off the 101.
For a small town, Templeton provides lots of eating out options. McPhee's is top on the list and perfect for that special occasion. Ian (McPhee) cooks up fantastic farm-to-table fare. Other local flavor includes AJ Spurs (Western flavor) and Jack's (wood-fired cooked burgers, salads and lots of TVs for viewing sports). Enjoy a glass of wine and an appetizer or cheese platter at 15 Degrees Wine Bar before or after dinner. To start your day, you can't go wrong with Joe's for an All-American breakfast or The Kitchenette for a bit more gourmet breakfast or lunch delicacies.
After you've exhausted the Templeton restaurants, the Paso restaurants are also outstanding. What's your pleasure: Italian, Irish, French, Mexican, Asian, Argentinean, Organic or Seafood? Paso has them all and more. There's even a new Speakeasy in town, called Eleven Twenty-Two. You're in wine and foodie heaven.
There is so much to do and explore on the Central Coast. Of course there is wine tasting and wine events. But once the taste buds need a break, there are so many other activities near by. Golf anyone? Paso Robles Golf Course is a great course for the novice. The more serious golfer might try Hunter Ranch. There are dozen other courses around the area as well. While the guys are golfing there are plenty of spas for the ladies for a day of beauty treatments. Take in a concert at the Vina Robles Amphitheater. There is not a bad seat in the gorgeous 2500 seat music venue. For the more adventurous types, there are plenty of hiking trails and a zip line to amp up the adrenaline. If boating is your choice of relaxation...the Lake Nacimiento boat launch is just 35 minutes away.
Venture out to the local towns. Go antiquing in Cambria. Visit the Elephant Seals and Hearst Castle in San Simeon. Collect shells on Moonstone Beach. Drive an ATV on the beach at the Oceano Dunes. Check out the fantastic Farmers' Markets - Saturdays in downtown Templeton and Thursday nights in San Luis Obispo. Days of endless fun awaits you on the Central Coast.

This is a great place! We did a weekend girls trip there and had a blast. Super comfortable beds, a really well-stocked kitchen, and the jacuzzi were all perfect. Would love to revisit and stay again! Oh, the bathrobes in the closet were a fun and appreciated surprise.

“After a day of traveling around wine country, all you’ll want is a soak in the hot tub, a relaxing shower, and a soft bed. This place has all three, in spades - the hot tub was perfect for a glass of wine at sunset. You won’t want to get out of the incredible rain shower, but the amazing bed has a siren song that won’t be ignored. Combine that with the spectacular location, and this is a place you’ll be sure to book every time you come back to the Paso region.”

Wonderful place and will certainly stay again. Well appointed, very comfortable bed, nice hot tub, good location, private. No complaints!
This home is perfect for a peaceful, romantic getaway to enjoy the beauty of Paso Robles. Kathy is an amazing host and helped provide some local tips that made it the perfect week for us. We definitely look forward to returning in the future and I highly recommend this home for anybody considering a visit to wine country or to enjoy beauty and relaxation.
This place is unique for a loving couple who look for a romantic getaway. Splendid view, stylish interior, perfect bedding, pillows, bath robes. The place is spacious with high ceiling and much air. Hot tub on the terrace to rest after a wine tour and look at the sunset. The perfect place to create lifetime memoirs.
Very clean and thoughtfully curated with all the essentials you need for a home away from home. Great kitchen for cooking with all the tools. Great grill and outdoor area. Nice towels, bathrooms, extra linen. All you need is a nice bottle of wine!
Great place and even better location! We enjoyed the sunrise and the sunset! We visited several wineries all within minutes!
A great base in a beautiful neighborhood to explore the Central coast! Us and our 2 kids had plenty of space indoors and outdoors to unwind after spending the day out exploring in Morro bay, San Luis Obispo, and Paso. The hot tub was awesome in the evening! Can’t say enough good things about our stay.
This was a great place to stay. The space was very clean and modern, with all the amenities and comforts one could need. The hot tub and porch were a great addition to our experience. I would definitely return if traveling back to the Paso Robles area.
This home is so beautiful. It’s peace and quiet elegance that is understated, immeasurable “feel at home” comfort with everything you thought you needed and much more. The host has thought of all your needs; a full working spacious kitchen, extra ziplock bags, extra lush towels and pillows, robes for after your rain shower to dip into a nice hot tub, a make-up towel with lovely soaps, all the pots and pans you could think of to cook/bake your holiday meals and cakes.... and even a gorgeous sunrise ordered to your large gorgeous patio each morning. This is the exact stay we need to make our thanksgiving vacation out and in just perfect for our family. We would love to come back!!
Such a beautiful space and great location for wineries. Instructions were on point, loved the hot tub!

This location was the perfect spot my wife and I were looking for to escape from the bay area for a week and recharge our batteries. We both work from home, and were able to connect and work without interruption from the property due to the excellent internet and WiFi connectivity. The property itself is situated in front of a sweeping view of the hills, which was a serious bonus. We were able to work outside with our laptops and enjoy the great view. There are also multiple wineries within walking distance, which we took full advantage of. Kathy is a great host and was super responsive to all our inquiries. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and will definitely be coming back!

The barn-home was such a treat. Quietly situated with a view of rolling hills as far as the eye can see from inside and underneath a cozy patio with hot tub. Very clean. Modern amenities. Nicely decorated. Great book selections. Comfortable bed and roll away (extra cushion available). Great kitchen for home away from home cooked meals & grill for outdoor dining. Close to Paso Robles & central coast for day trips. Highly recommended.

“Great place— very peaceful.”

“Amazing place!! We will definitely come back. We were surprised to see a hot tub there when we didn’t see it on the listing initially. This may be one of the best Airbnb’s we’ve ever stayed at, if not the best one. Kathleen was super great with responding quickly and the details of the check in helped tremendously. We loved every moment of it, thank you Kathleen!”
