Smart & Final is the nearest grocer, located a block away on Spring Street. In addition, Savage Spirits & Deli - located right across the street - has an impressive deli (tri-tip grilled on the weekends for sandwiches) along with a great collection of spirits and beer. Another favorite located just a few blocks away is DK's Donuts (open 24 hours). A few miles from town there is an Albertson's on Niblick and Trader Joe's is just down the road a bit on Vineyard Drive in Templeton. While at the Trader Joe's you can pick up some fresh caught fish at Pier 46 Fish Market or head on over to the butcher, J&R Meats, for some grass-fed local meats and game. Back up in Paso you can find a few quality cheese shops, Vivant Fine Cheese and Di Raimondos Italian Market and Cheese Shop, along with some cigar shops, Boyd's and Third Base Market & Spirits.
What goes best with wine…FOOD! Paso is packed with great restaurants. Stay a week or two so you can try all of them! Italian, French, Irish, Asian, Mexican, even Argentinean are just a few. From pizza to 5-course meals, Paso Robles has come of age in its dining options. Some of our favorites in Paso Robles include BL Brasserie, The Hatch, Thomas Hill Organics, Buona Tavola, Fish Gaucho, Street Side Ale House, The Alchemist, Andrea's on Pine and Jeffrey's Wine Country BBQ. Just a bit to the south, in Templeton, offers a few more options including McPhee's where you can find some of the best wood-fired steaks in town.
Wine, beer and spirits tasting, hot air ballooning, horseback riding, water park, jeep rides, ziplining, Farmer's Markets, concerts at Vina Robles Amphitheatre, spas, beaches, Morro Bay, Hearst Castle, Cambria...take your pick. There are endless options to play until your heart's content. And don’t miss Paso latest attraction, Sensorio. Designed by artist, Bruce Munro, the “Field of Light” exhibition is a 15-acre walk-through experience through over 58m000 stemmed spheres.

“Great location close to town, and best house on the block! Loved how nicely renovated the inside was and the outdoor space is huge. Communication was on point. I prefer to be a little closer to town but this place was worth it.”
- Angela P.
“We absolutely enjoyed our stay. The house was very charming, clean, comfortable and very well located within walking distance to downtown Paso Robles, grocery store and Paso Market Walk (great pastries there). Check in was easy and fast communication. The backyard was great! Nice grill and fire pit. We will forever cherish the memories we created at Crush Pad. Highly recommend a stay there.”

“Great house and location. Smartly decorated and full of homey touches. Great backyard with fire pit and lots of space for games. Thoughtful touches with Brita water pitcher full of water in fridge. Only thing missing was a box of tissues! Would look to stay here again.”
- Beth M.
Everything was perfect. Kathy and team made this trip way less stressful! The communication was perfect; Not too much not too little. All and all I would Definitely stay again. 🤍
- Bre H.
We had a great trip! The house was true to photos and in a heat location so we were able to walk all weekend and not have to drive. The house is very cute inside. We had 5 girls and fit.pwrfwcrlt in the 3 bedrooms. The house is stocked with whatever you need. The only downfall was the neighbors dogs barking whenever we were outside, whi h we weren't much. But there is a little fire pit area outside, I imagine that being annoying if you were spending more time out in the yard. There is a Smaet & Final across the street that was easy to get whatever we needed. On our 2nd night we doordashed food and there were ton of options. We would go back to the same house again.

Kathy was great and the home was fantastic.

We had an amazing stay in Paso Robles thanks to this stylish house! It was the perfect walking distance to downtown and the new food court in town. We loved how clean the house was and the surprise bottle of wine we were gifted. We also LOVED the fireplace to sip wine around at night. We will stay here again in the future! The kitchen had everything we needed to make dinner and breakfast and we even used the BBQ in the afternoons - a great stay

Lovely property within walking distance of downtown Paso Robles. Comfortable and very clean!
We were looking at getting away for a few days with the kids and found this property in Paso Robles. First, this house is very convenient to downtown Paso. Second, while this is on a Main Street, the house is very convenient and quiet. Third, the house was extremely cozy and a wonderful place to stay. We would absolutely stay here again with pleasure! The house management was also very responsive and easy to reach. Wineries were 10 minutes or less to drive to. Hiking locations were easily reachable and Pismo and Cambria were reachable in 30min. The perfect spot and we loved the house.
Super clean, comfortable and stylish place with an AWESOME fire pit! We spent hours sitting by the fire!
We had a small party of 6 and it accommodated everyone fine. Having a kitchen was very beneficial, especially during COVID, so we were able to cook and made our stay even more personal. One small tidbit, there's only 1 shower, so having time to showers was a bit tedious, but manageable. Thanks for the wonderful stay Kathleen!
Best place in Paso!! We had an excellent stay, loved this place and the beds were so comfortable! I slept like a baby 😊 It doesn’t disappoint!!
Had a wonderful stay at the Crush Pad! Couldn't have picked a better spot for a low key weekend with the girls.
- Elaheh K
My daughters and I had a wonderful stay in this lovely cottage. We enjoyed the backyard fire pit, the comfortable beds and cozy kitchen. I would love to stay here again next time.

Myself and 4 friends are known as the "Gallo Girls" because of our love for wine. The Crush Pad was perfect for our 3 day weekend, wine tasting, seeing the Sensorio light show and just relaxing. We enjoyed the fire pit a couple of nights and overall just had a great weekend away from the hustle and bustle of LA. I'd definitely recommend The Crush Pad, it was centrally located for wine tasting, shopping and dining choices. Thank you for helping us have a great weekend.

The home is a lovely space if you're looking for somewhere to relax and unwind from a busy day of wine tasting and site seeing. The kitchen has everything you need to cook up a delicious breakfast or dinner and the fire pit outside is a great space to wind down with some of the wine you purchased visiting the local wineries. Never had to drive or walk more than 10 minutes to get where we had plans!

We had a wonderful stay at this house. The house was clean and had all the amenities we needed for the weekend. Everything is new and beautifully decorated. Check in was a breeze and we appreciated them accommodating our request for an earlier check in. There was even a bottle of wine to welcome us to our wine weekend. The beds were so comfortable! The house is about a 10-15 minute walk to downtown. It was nice to be able to walk into downtown for brunch, wine tastings, and dinners. It was the perfect place for for our girls getaway. We look forward to staying here again for future visits.

Such a cute home. Perfect for a girls weekend.
This was such a great house for our visit. The location so close to downtown was perfect and we were able to walk to dinner. The house is really cute and we loved the decor. It is a warm and cozy house that was perfect for our Mom/Daughter get away. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds are really comfortable. We also loved the front porch and enjoyed an evening out front drinking a glass of wine. This was the perfect house and we can't wait to come back and stay again soon!

This home is perfect from couples who want to getaway by themselves or with friends or for a large family of 5 or more!! The backyard is an entertainer's dream! Corn hole tournaments here we come! We loved how convenient this property is to downtown and all the fabulous shops, wine-tasting rooms and vast variety of restaurants to meet anyone's palate. No need to drive as everything is in walking distance. What a gem! We can't wait to return to this delightful house and explore more of Paso and all it has to offer.
