Smart & Final is the nearest grocer, located a block away on Spring Street. In addition, Savage Spirits & Deli - located right across the street - has an impressive deli (tri-tip grilled on the weekends for sandwiches) along with a great collection of spirits and beer.  Another favorite located just a few blocks away is DK's Donuts (open 24 hours per day). A few miles from town there is an Albertson's on Niblick and Trader Joe's is just down the road a bit on Vineyard Drive in Templeton. While at the Trader Joe's you can pick up some fresh caught fish at Pier 46 Fish Market or head on over to the butcher, J&R Meats, for some grass-fed local meats and game. Back up in Paso you can find a few quality cheese shops, Vivant Fine Cheese and Di Raimondos Italian Market and Cheese Shop, along with some cigar shops, Boyd's and Third Base Market & Spirits.

What goes best with wine? FOOD! Paso is packed with great restaurants. Stay a week or two so you can try all of them! Italian, French, Irish, Asian, Mexican, even Argentinean are just a few. From pizza to 5-course meals, Paso Robles has come of age in its dining options. Some of our favorites in Paso Robles include BL Brasserie, The Hatch, Thomas Hill Organics, Buena Tavola, Fish Gaucho, Street Side Ale House, The Alchemist, Andrea's on Pine and Jeffry's Wine Country BBQ.  Just a bit to the south, in Templeton, offers a few more options including McPhee's where you can find some of the best wood-fired steaks in town.

Wine, beer and spirits tasting, hot air ballooning, horseback riding, water park fun, jeep rides, ziplining, Farmer's Markets, concerts at Vina Robles Amphitheatre, spas, beaches, Morro Bay, Hearst Castle, Cambria...take your pick. There are endless options to play until your heart's content. And don’t miss Paso latest attraction, Sensorio. Designed by artist, Bruce Munro, the “Field of Light” exhibition is a 15-acre walk-through experience through over 58,000 stemmed spheres.

You are in for a treat! ★★★★★

You are in for a treat! Kathy’s home is located at the end of a dusty road facing a field with a view of a vineyard over which you can enjoy spectacular sun rises and then after a day in Paso Robles, you can gather around the patio table to enjoy the cool of the evening. The cottage’s color scheme and decor lend a restful air to this seemingly private retreat in the country. The kitchen is well stocked with convenient tools and basic condiments. The host has thoughtfully provided for her guests. We enjoyed our time and left with fond memories of our stay.

Only 2 things that are lacking were the back bedroom needs a fan and the backyard is very uninviting - feels like an empty lot with a table, chairs, and a BBQ

Beautiful and quiet. ★★★★★

Kathy's place is beautiful and quiet. She is quite responsive. Your place is tastefully furnished and we had everything we needed to be comfortable. There were 7 of us at the place (3 adults and 4 children) and it was wonderful to be able to relax and reconnect as family friends.

This home was so cute, super clean! ★★★★★

This home was so cute, super clean! Eight of us went and slept comfortably. They have a sofa bed with an air mattress, didn't even know those existed! The host was very responsive, we had run out of towels and needed extra sheets. By the time we came home from the wineries, they were there! Also very accommodating providing early check-in and late check-out. I would definitely stay here again when returning to Paso Robles!

Wonderful home, comfortable and ultra clean! ★★★★★

Kathy has a wonderful home, comfortable and ultra clean. We were a group of 6 celebrating my kid and their friend's milestone birthdays. It's located next to many vineyards and a short drive to downtown. We arrived at Midnight and had a little problem with the front door not taking the code, but thankfully the backdoor worked! Kathy is awesome calling about 15 minutes after I messaged on Airbnb. Since we arrived after dark and there is a chain on the gate, we were worried we were locked out, but that is not the case just unhook. I highly recommend booking this place for trip! Thank you Kathy!

Space was Great for Our Group of 8! ★★★★★

This space was great for our group of 8! We had an awesome time at your location! I appreciated the quick communication beforehand, especially as we asked for an early check in! The house was super clean and well kept. We also appreciated the local recommendations! Will not hesitate to look up this location again when we find ourselves back out in Paso Robles!

Waking up to birds chirping with the vineyard view was the best! ★★★★★

“Waking up to birds chirping with the vineyard view was the best. This is a clean and well managed place with everything provided for a comfortable stay. Neighborhood kitty cat being the welcome host! It is on the east side of the 46 and little more than 15 min drive to restaurants and shops but definitely worth the quiet tranquility you don’t get staying near the town center which got crazy busy over the weekend! Amazing beautiful place that I cannot wait to come back to stay again. There was a gate that was not automatic that I had to open and close each time I left and came back, which was a pain but only and simply because I have an ankle and hip injury. Clean and efficient. This is a gem of a place for anyone looking for a quiet get away.”

Felt very homey! ★★★★★

The property was very clean and felt very homey. It was also well stocked and had very clear instructions on how to use the wifi, thermostat, etc. Overall we had a great stay. The only downside was that the road leading to the property was an uneven dirt road, but we know that's not the owners fault. We would definitely recommend staying here for someone who wants a nice, quiet, and private stay.

Perfect for our family of 4! ★★★★★

“Our stay was only 2 days but we enjoyed the house - the space is well-designed and was perfect for our family of 4. The surroundings are beautiful and you truly get a 'ranch-like' experience given neighboring goats and animals. The road is not paved leading up to the house so be careful at night. It's a 10-15 min drive to the downtown square but it's close to many wineries on Rte 46. The hosts left a bottle of wine and great recommendations.”

Highly recommend booking here! ★★★★★

“Very welcoming home! Great at getting back to any of my questions in a timely manner! All beds and furniture were SO comfortable. I booked this place to help celebrate my bachelorette party and I have to say it did not disappoint! I loved the fact that our cars could be parked on an enclosed property as well! I’d highly recommend booking here if you’re looking for a fun, clean and safe place to stay in Paso!”

The backyard was great! ★★★★★

“We really enjoyed our stay in this stylish and comfortable house! In addition to the well-prepared inside of the house, the backyard was great for eating or relaxing.”

Had a great stay! ★★★★★

“Had a great stay at Kathy’s place. 5 of us fit perfectly. Not sure how more than 6 can fit, should take into consideration there is only 1 bathroom. Aside from the 1 bathroom (which we knew going in) we had a nice stay. Pictures are pretty spot on to the house. The bottle of wine was a nice treat. Only complaint (which we also knew going in) was there were no Uber’s/lyfts available. The house is about 13 minutes from downtown and we expected to be able to find something but could not which was a bummer. Luckily we had a backup plan and were able to get around just fine.”

Cute place away from downtown! ★★★★

“Kathy’s place was great! It’s definitely in the country part of Paso but it wasn’t too out of the way from where we had reservations. We drove to most of the wineries so I am not sure how the uber situation is from there. The house had almost everything you needed to stay comfortable and I really appreciated the extra touches in the bathroom! Please do note that there is only one bathroom in the home, so if you’re staying with another couple or two, then definitely plan on shower shifts! All in all, I would def recommend Kathys place if you’re looking for a cute place away from downtown!”

Cute little home! ★★★★★

"Cute little home. Perfect for 4-6 people. I loved the livestock around the property and the baby goats. We weren’t able to get an Uber from this location on a Saturday night. We enjoyed sitting around the fire pit on."
