The home is beautiful! Views were a real treat. We look forward to coming again.
This is a beautiful and comfortable home in a spectacular setting. We were three adult couples (parents and adult children/partners). The photos are all accurate. Plenty of room for multiple cooks to share the kitchen that had a very good selection of cooking and baking pans, knives and utensils, as well as pantry basics - and then some. The city-dwellers especially enjoyed being able to use the gas grill. A book describing how to care for the house was clear and thorough. There are several outside spaces for eating, reading and relaxing, though it’s hard to get much reading done given the distracting views! A highlight during our stay was when a crew arrived to pick grapes from the vines on the property. The managing team gave us a heads up to expect them, and it was not an intrusion at all. I had been a little concerned that the home might be a bit remote, but since you need a car to get around anyway, the extra 10 minutes to get to Paso Robles was not an issue. Note that the San Miguel stores have very limited groceries, so don’t count on them for more than milk and eggs - and beer. We enjoyed numerous activities off-site: hiking and kayaking in Morro Bay, a sunset horseback ride amidst a vineyard, and of course wine-tasting at several wineries, and at Tin City. On a scale of 1-10, we’d rate this as 11.
This is a wonderful home for a family get away. The lay out if the home is lovely. What a treat to have a bathroom with each bedroom. To be able to sit on one of the various decks to relax and restore was a real treat.
Casa de Vina was delightful. On the hilltop nestled in the vineyards, it provided such a comfortable, relaxing vacation for my family. We had 4 adults and 2 young kids. It is away from the hustling downtown Paso Robles with a scenic drive to and fro. We spent 4 nights and used the fully equipped kitchen well. My daughters especially enjoyed the piano. The view was so exquisite at sunset. We're planning to return next year.

House is well equipped and has amazing views of the vineyards! Can't wait to be back and visit again! Kathy, thanks very much for hosting!! We had an amazing time at Casa de Viña! Already miss the view of the vineyards!
- Andres C.
We had such a wonderful time at Casa de Vina! It was the site of our "sister vacation" where all six of us gathered for a several day get together from distant locations. The house is perfect for a group with multiple gathering spots, hot tub, beautiful landscaping, air conditioning, and private bathroom for each of the three bedrooms. Comfortable furniture and beds with artistic decor. Loved our time hanging out at the house yet closed to town, wineries, and Avila Beach.
- Jennifer B.
Amazing property with all the comforts. The house inside a vineyard with amazing views and lot of activities within a short drive. 10 mins drive to major wineries in Paso. You have an amazing property, we loved every bit of it. Everything was perfect the location, serene atmosphere, hot tub and plenty of utensils in kitchen. We would love to come back whenever we are in that area. The hot tub overlooking the vineyards make a perfect place to go unwind in the evening. The kitchen is well stocked with quality utensils. Had an amazing time.
- Rahul M.
This house was great! The view from the kitchen and backyard were breathtaking. There was a wonderful breeze every night that really cooled down the house. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone interested. Your house made my mother’s 60th birthday amazing. My family loved it. It was a perfect getaway. Thanks again for offering your house to us.
- Ryan P.
Place has amazing views and the bird sounds are so soothing! A great get away with friends!

- Sambhav J.
“Kathy's property is stunning. Not only is the house superbly appointed and beautiful, the outdoor areas exceeded our expectations. The views are outstanding and the hot tub was relaxing and lovely. This was the perfect house for a much needed girls trip after a year of not being able to see each other. We enjoyed the proximity to wineries, cooking in the beautiful kitchen, and relaxing in the many outdoor hang-out areas. Check-in and out were seamless and Kathy was extremely communicative and helpful. We hope to return soon!”
- Lisie R.
“Amazing time, beautiful home, the most gorgeous views”
- Taleen Y.
“Awesome place amidst a stunning natural environment. The Casa is colorful & filled with unique touches reflective of the area’s Spanish Mission heritage and surrounding wine country, and made for a very comfortable home base for a family trip. It’s situated on a vineyard, with rolling hills & stellar landscapes in all directions. Plenty of outdoor space for enjoying the views, and very comfortable inside. We appreciated the hot tub, barbecue grill & laundry machines were much appreciated. The location is roughly 10 miles from downtown Paso Robles, so easy striking distance from restaurants and myriad wineries, while offering a quiet, peaceful sanctuary in the mornings & evenings between activities. Communication throughout the booking, pre-arrival and check-in process was timely and courteous. We had a great experience and would really like to come back!”
- Sean G.
“My husband and our two children thoroughly enjoyed our stay here in this beautiful Paso Robles home! The winery views are unique and like no other rental experience we’ve had. We loved watching and hearing all the birds while sitting in the hot tub. The home was clean and well appointed. It was everything we wanted in a short getaway to relax and recharge.”
- Anjali P.
“We had a wonderful stay at Casa de Vina! Beautiful house with gorgeous views, and a hot tub to enjoy them from. What more could you ask for? Also appreciated the thoughtful touches like fresh flowers and a bottle of wine. The house was sparkling clean, had everything you could need, and Kathy and team were very responsive and helpful. We’ll definitely be back, hopefully for a longer stay.”
- Eshanthi R.
“This house has a lovely outdoor area! The view is great (would be even better when the vines are growing) and the hot tub was a very nice touch! Loved sitting outside overlooking the vineyard with a glass of wine.”
- Katherine W.
“This place is great for a quiet weekend away if you’re from a big, busy city like me. The view is incredible! Only criticism is that the grill brush needs to be replaced and there were certain parts of the house that had dust and cobwebs, but that comes with a house in the country.”
- Luke S.
“The house was spotless and smelled so clean. We were greeted with fresh flowers and wine. Kitchen is stocked with everything you could need. The view was absolutely stunning! We would love to return when the vines are full. It was great having en-suite bathrooms. Close to wineries. Would definitely return!”
- Leanne S.
Amazing views with the most up to date kichenary stuff!
- April S.
A group of 5 of us stayed here as our first post vaccination gathering. The house was comfortable with fabulous views and a great hot tub. Beds are comfy and the kitchen is well equipped. Wonderful special touches met us on our arrival- a bottle of wine, fresh flowers throughout and communication was easy and responsive.
- Nina C.
We had a wonderful stay at Casa de Vina (3 couples). The house is spacious, extremely private and only 15min from downtown Paso Robles. The kitchen was extremely well stocked and all the amenities in great shape. Would definitely stay there again
- Charmaine H.
A great place with stunning views!
Great location, beautiful views. Highly recommended to anyone trying to get away from the bustle of cities and have some peace and quiet. Pretty much every outdoor activity you could think of is within an hour drive radius. There will only be more things opening as time passes.
Great views, really clean, good amenities. Very close to a few wineries on pleasant Valley wine trail with a nice relaxing spot.
What a remarkable place! Kathleen was so easy to communicate with, and the property the house is on is just remarkable. The kitchen is remarkably stocked for cooking, and all of the beds are very comfortable. Our friends and I had a wonderful and relaxing stay.
We had a lovely stay at Casa de Viña. The home was quite comfortable, kitchen well-stocked and the view was UNFORGETTABLE!
Amazing house with modern amenities, remodeled bathrooms, just the right amount of away from civilization, breathtaking views of sunrise/sunset and everything in between. It's a great place to hole up, especially in covid times. The internet is a bit slow so get your own hotspot and there's some flies to deal with but that comes with a functioning vineyard with grapes all around you. It was an amazing experience with something to do for everyone in the family. We'll be back soon. And towns nearby just in case you forgot something at home or want to pick-up food.
- Prapanna T
I've stayed at countless airbnbs over the years, and this one is by far my all time favorite. The space is small, which is just what we needed. It's decorated with small appliances, small furniture; everything was really cute. It had everything that we could possibly need to cook meals, do laundry, etc. The bed was amazingly comfortable, and having an additional A/C in the bedroom was really nice on the hot days. Kathleen went above and beyond by helping me have an item shipped to the location prior to my arrival. Thank you so much for that! You're close to all kinds of wineries, breweries, beaches, etc. So much to do, and such a nice place to stay while you do it.
What a beautiful property! We so enjoyed our stay and the incredible vistas. The decor and furnishings provide a great respite from the busy pace of life. Look forward to returning!!
- Raymond W
Beautiful home overlooking a vineyard. Sunsets were amazing.
- Brenda C
Beautiful home atop the vineyard estate... the view of the area is stunning! And so much space to yourself. Had a great weekend despite the heat.
- Rafi S
We had a great stay at Casa de Vina! The views and property were awesome (hot tub was nice to have), the house has great amenities for cooking at home, and the wineries in Paso Robles are a close 15-20 minute drive! The property is pretty secluded area, but perfect for a weekend stay! Would definitely stay here again!!
- Jackie G
It is a very nice place to stay. The house has great views and nice amenities.
- Raha M
Casa de Vina is lovely! The views are amazing, the hot tub is wonderful, and the kitchen is very serviceable! Kathleen is also a wonderful host!
- Aaron B
The venue was amazing! Perfect place to celebrate wine country. Sarah and Sean were very accommodating. Nice setup for three couples . We enjoyed the backyard, spa and grounds. Would highly recommend

Our group had a wonderful experience at this home. The views are breathtaking. Save some time to enjoy the house during your stay. The absolute perfect setting for a weekend getaway from a romantic trip to a girls weekend. Also very convenient to the town of Paso Robles for excellent restaurants and fun shopping and people watching. Highly recommend!!
- Johanna D
GREAT PLACE, GREAT VIEWS, VERY SECLUDED AND PRIVATE.
I WILL GO BACK AGAIN AND AGAIN.
VERY FRIENDLY OWNERS...
THANK YOU SEAN WALTER
- Vigen T
Beautiful and well tended property. When told the house was well stocked, I was VERY happily surprised that statement was true. Most rentals don't have any spices for cooking and usually smaller amounts of dishes, silverware, glasses, pans, etc. This home was STOCKED - even had martini glasses and a book of different recipes! Loved that they had outdoor and indoor games, stereo, televisions in several rooms and a fabulous fireplace. A perfect place for three couples to each have their own bedrooms and bathrooms for convenience and privacy. The property manager was very attentive and helpful. We will definitely stay again and highly recommend this property!!!
- Susan S.
What a treat to be able to stay in the middle of a peaceful and beautiful vineyard. The house was well appointed with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The layout was perfect for a family or groups of friends. I would highly recommend this property!
We used this home as a second overflow home for my large 40th birthday gathering. My guests loved the location, it was peaceful, serene and beautiful views of the vineyards. The rooms were good size and great that each room had it's own private bathroom. The location was a little challenging to find when it was dark out if you hadn't been there, but was well worth it. Thank you Sean for your hospitality!
- Sarah E.
Casa de Vina is the perfect getaway for 2 or 3 couples looking for privacy and a serene setting in the middle of a working vineyard. Its a 40 to 50 year old ranch house that has been beautifully brought up to classy. high quality, and modern conditions. Everything is updated, and it feels like a luxury hotel on the inside. Big bathrooms, beautiful stone, granite, hand-scrapped wood floors, many thick towels - just the way you would want things.
The views are stunning, as the Casa sits on top of a hilltop vineyard, providing 360 degree views across the valley below. The house is gated, there is NO ONE within 2-3 miles of the Casa de Vina.
